Library Lovers Month

February is Library Lover's Month. For ideas on how to celebrate go to: http://www.librarysupport.net/librarylovers/ I liked the one that said "take a librarian to lunch".

Unfortunately libraries are not used often these days. With so much information online it makes libraries more and more obsolete. I still love heading up there though and checking out a good book.

Aloha. That web-site is da swellest, 'n I have bin looking for dis website for a long time now and I am sooo grateful I eventually stumbled upon it.

I am 23 years old and starting my masters at Yale.

I am the type of man who enjoys to seek radical things. Right now unfortunately I'm having quite a bad otalgia and I'm utilizing the www as the exclusive path to cure it. I discovered a very awesome site that discusses an interesting earache home remedy. The website explains all the steps required to curing it.

I'm not clear about how useful the data given der iz. If some guys over here who have experience with this thing can have a see and give your feedback in the page it will be good and I would really value it, because I'm truly suffering right now.

Thanks for checking it. U people are great.

My local library may be closed this Spring due to funding. Such a shame that kids don't use them these days but with the internet who needs to?

So true that the internet has replaced the local library in many ways. And, with inventions of the technology of ereaders, such as the nook, it is unfortunate that the public is leaving the FREE resources of the library behind. I would surely hate to see libraries cease to exist. What a great resource to save money. Prior to the school age years, my kids and I spent every week at the library. Good, safe, and free entertainment is hard to come by these days!

Speaking as an avid reader, I loved the Library Lovers site and will be returning to it multiple times in the future. However, I'm afraid that as learning becomes more and more image based, books will become ever less popular. Our libraries won't make the comeback they deserve until people are taught to read and to actually think about what they read again.

I'd love to see a concomitant "Read Something Difficult And Write An Essay On It" week. If more people tried doing that sort of thing, they might find that it's enjoyable and helps make the world make sense.
